Annecy Area, France. A group of friends gathered at a rented house on the shores of Lac D'Annecy, at the base of Mont Veyrier, for more than two weeks of paragliding, hiking, sightseeing and just hanging with friends. Wide selection of pictures available here.

Donna and I found fantastic scenery and loads of wildlife while enjoying a Brunton-sponsored trip to western Wyoming. We hiked the Brooks Lake area, fished the Snake River,and hiked throughout Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We saw mule deer, pronghorn, bison, moose, coyotes, osprey, eagles, harriers, and more.

Mountain Hardwear PR masters organized a truly epic adventure to allow journalists to experience the Mountain Hardwear gear and apparel in the roughest, toughest conditions possible. BACKPACKER Rocky Mountain Editor Steve Howe lead our merry band on a cross-country trek through a remote, un-trailed part of Capital Reef National Park.
Hiking in the Escalante River Country, including lower Death Hollow. We explored the slots of Peak-a-boo Canyon, Spooky Canyon, Brimstone Canyon and Zebra (waterfilled) and walked the flanks of Boulder Mountain.

Area B, Fort Stevens, Oregon. Sometimes spur-of-the-moment decisions pay off. Late on a Thursday night in June '07, we decided to do something different on the weekend, so early Friday we headed south to check out a site we'd heard of but knew nothing about. Area B is a BLAST! Great fun was had by all!
Late in April, Fort Ebey offered perfect soaring conditions on a Saturday morning – but where were all the pilots? Only four paraglider pilots showed up to share quiet five hours of flying in smooth conditions with the local gaggle of bald eagles. By the time other PGers showed up after 2 p.m., conditions dropped off and the orginal four went home happily tired from hours of flying.
A dozen friends spent a week in Santa Barbara, flying six sites, walking three beaches, and eating many great meals. Flying sites include: Skyport, Alternator, Bates Beach, Training Hill, More Mesa and (for Dave and Chris) Nuthouse.
